Q: How do you see the future direction of Top Secret Thailand?
A: I don’t think it will remain just a regular tuning shop. It might evolve into something more like fashion, and a culture in itself.
Q: So, more of a community?
A: Exactly. You’ll have to wait and see, we have a lot more products coming.
Q: Are there any modifications that Smokey won’t allow in Top Secret?
A: Smokey doesn’t have any strict “no-go” rules. Normally, we’ll discuss everything beforehand, and he’ll ask what I want to do. His shop isn’t very big, and the company’s production capacity is quite limited, so when people visit, there isn’t a huge variety of parts available. But after collaborating with us, they’ve been able to produce more items.
Q: Among all the engines you’ve driven, which is your favorite?
A: I’ve always loved Nissan’s RB engines.
Q: I thought you switched from an RB to a JZ engine, did that happen? (Interviewer misunderstanding)
A: No, no, no. I love RBs. I’m actually switching from a J to an RB.
Q: And how’s the DC5 engine project going?
A: It’s about 20% away from completion.
Q: For husbands who want to modify their cars, is there any way to convince their wives more easily?
A: Just treat your wife really well, that’s the key.
Q: Like just worship her morning and evening?
A: Exactly! Everyday.
