Heng’s Garage: The Collector’s Pitstop

More than just a place to park cars, Heng’s Garage is a sanctuary for automotive passion. Born from a love of machines and the stories they carry, it’s where GTR legends sit alongside American muscle and rare JDM icons. Here, it’s not about profit. It’s about preserving memories, celebrating design, and sharing the joy of collecting with kindred spirits.

Q: How did Heng Garage get started?
A: It all began when I was living abroad in the United States. I had a friend who ran a garage, and I spent a lot of time hanging out there, getting involved in what they were doing. When I eventually came back to Thailand, I thought, “I’d like to do something like that too.” So I set up my own garage. But mine isn’t a repair shop, it’s more of a space where I keep cars and collectibles all in one place.

Q: So it’s not really a commercial business aimed at making profit?
A: No, not at all. Everything here is purely a hobby. I do sell a few small items from time to time, but it’s never about making money. I just want fellow fans, people who share the same passion to have something they love and can collect, just like I do.

Q: Does the garage only feature GTRs?
A: GTRs are the main focus, but it’s not limited to just that. I also have American cars and plenty of other JDM models as well.

Q: Are you into race cars too, or is it mainly street cars?
A: I like race cars as well. I’ve worked on a few, recently I finished building a drift car. But I don’t actually drift myself, haha. I just built it and parked it.

This short but spirited interview captures the heart of what Heng’s Garage is all about pure passion, shared stories, and the joy of collecting without boundaries. It’s a glimpse into a world where engines are more than machines, where every car holds a memory, and where enthusiasm drives everything forward.
